The handheld banner shows your text full screen, either scrolling right to left or held still in the centre, with adjustable colours, font size, speed and blinking. On start it does its best to enter Fullscreen, lock the orientation to landscape and request a Wake Lock; where those are unsupported it degrades to an overlay or to the normal system screen timeout.

While scrolling, the speed is estimated from the viewport size, the font size, the length of the text and a speed level of 1–10; the static mode does not use a scrolling speed at all.

Replace shouting in a noisy place with text, keeping the screen awake while it shows.
When the browser refuses Fullscreen the implementation falls back to a fixed overlay and keeps displaying.
The text and preferences are stored only in the current browser and are never uploaded.
